San Francisco...

The city of San Francisco is located in the northern part of California. San Francisco is a major tourist center, famous for its attractions, including for example The Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz prison, Coit Tower, Ghirardelli- chocolate factory.


Characteristic of the city is its steep hills and streets.





 I would like to pay special attention to the climate in San Francisco because California is actually a warm place, however, the San Francisco due to the fact of it is surrounded from the three sides by water is a little different atmosphere than in a city such as for example Los Angeles where are all the time heat.  

When I was traveling from Las Veas through Death Valley and Yosemite to San Francisco weather surprised us, it was so cold and rainy in San Francisco. We immediately jumped out of summer clothes for an autumn one but already as we took a road to the south of California climate was getting warmer.

However, a combination of cold air from the ocean and warm up from the masses of land results in fog characteristic of which we can notice on the picture.. The entire Golden Gate is in a fog.

After visiting San Francisco on the way to Los Angeles we stoped in Santa Maria
This is a small city but with a nice beach worth to see :)
